I have been able to get benzodiazepines and opiates out of my body with minimal discomfort in an environment that is safe.
The individualized setting has allowed for personal care provided by well-trained staff and has given me the opportunity to learn a diverse set of skills that are going to help me do whatever I want to in the future. In the past I have done detoxification from lower doses of medication and now I realize that this process doesn’t have to be so painful like it was or in other treatment programs.
At first I had a skeptical mindset about the nutritional parts of the program, but now I realize what an important role an organic, healthy diet plays in life, my body, and particularly during a detox process. From the chefs to the case managers, ATMC has done an excellent job, in providing the many answers to the questions I had and showing me the proven process of success that I can continue to use in my life after leaving the facility.
