Winnie Bunch earned her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Arizona in 2014, and went on to obtain her Master in Nursing from Walden University in 2018. She is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 8 years of experience working in mental health. She has experience working in various facets of psychiatry, including inpatient, outpatient and residential treatment. Winnie has previously worked at Sierra Tucson, Serenity Mental Health, and Sonora Behavioral Health.

Winnie’s specialties include mood disorders, trauma related disorders, anxiety, and co-occurring issues. Clients are drawn to her non-judgmental, gentle, and nurturing approach. Winnie shared that she became interested in holistic health because of her Christian faith and Chinese cultural background. “Medications are great tools in treating mental health illnesses; however, they often do not produce the long-term outcomes and resolutions desired, as they do not teach life skills, nor take into account lifestyle/daily living routines, environmental toxins, or prior/unhealed trauma; leaving the root causes of most of the issues they’re prescribed to alleviate, unaddressed.” Winnie is passionate about using alternative treatments such as herbal medications and supplements, and detoxification, as well as spiritual and faith-based therapy to restore body, mind, and soul to balance.
