Glenn has over 35 years of experience as an RN in a variety of settings including critical care, acute rehab, vascular access, home care, hospice, and mental health. Glenn’s education, like his nursing background, is diverse as well. He first obtained his Child Development Teaching Credential from Cabrillo College in Aptos, CA. From there, he went on to earn two bachelor’s degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA. To complete his education, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic in San Leandro, CA.
“Experience has taught me that when it comes to healing ‘one size does not fit all.’ I understand that it takes discipline, courage, and determination to recognize and change our habitual and often self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.”
What attracted Glenn to want to join the Alternative to Meds nursing team was, “the opportunity to participate in a program that addresses the physical, cognitive, and emotional dimensions of healing in an environment that values dignity, respect, and accountability. Change requires compassion as well as commitment. Rather than run from our fear, shame, and confusion we can learn how such feelings can strengthen our resolve and our ability to affect the change that we desire.”
