I no longer experience those up and down mood swings that I used to experience. I feel a lot better in general and I feel excited to live life free of medications.

I’ve been taking and not taking psychiatric medications on and off for 15 years and always would come off of the medication cold turkey, and since I was stopping the drugs cold turkey I’d suffer constantly from withdrawal symptoms such as paranoia, hallucinations, and delusions. But every single time I did take my medication, I felt like I’d gone through dying.

Finally, I couldn’t handle this feeling any longer so I called my sister and she called around until she found Alternative to Meds Center. She explained to me that I would enter into a tapering program and be using special supplemental and diet programs. With the tapering program, there were no problems for me coming off of my medication. Everything has just been so smooth, no paranoia, hallucination, or delusions.

The minerals and vitamins must be working because I am feeling much more calm and energized with feelings of self worth. Now the diet that I’m on is helping to control the hypoglycemia and since this is under control I no longer experience those up and down mood swings that I used to experience. I feel a lot better in general and I feel excited to live life free of medications.
