Daniel’s Success Story

Looking Back

1. When you first arrived at ATMC, what were you struggling with most?
My life was no longer manageable. I lost my job and my livelihood. I was crippled by depression and consuming a near-lethal cocktail of prescription meds. I had no hope or purpose. I needed a miracle.

2. What concerns, fears, or doubts did you have about treatment when you began?
Having failed prior treatment attempts, I was unsure if or how ATMC could be different. I was afraid to fail again. I didn’t think it was possible to taper off my meds and cure my depression.

My Healing Journey

3. What were the most meaningful changes you’ve noticed in yourself during treatment?
Emotional stability, reduced symptoms, improved sleep or energy, increased self-trust, greater clarity or presence, improved relationships, sense of hope

Describe these changes in your own words:
The biggest shift was trusting my newfound intuition which allowed me to forgive myself and most importantly love myself again. This awakening blossomed into real clarity, presence, and emotional stability.

ATMC inpatient treatment provides comprehensive support & encouragement
4. Was there a moment, experience, or insight during treatment that felt especially important or transformative for you?
The moment I realized every single person at ATMC had my back. I can’t fully explain the comprehensiveness of the support. Every single person showered me with love, support, and radical encouragement that made the healing of body and soul possible.

Strengths & Self-Discovery

5. What personal strengths or qualities did you reconnect with or discover during your time here?
The biggest breakthrough for me was self-compassion. I was completely lost and learned to love myself again which made the miracle happen.

6. How do you relate to yourself differently now than when you arrived?
I was a broken man, a broken husband, and a broken father, and a lost son of God. There was certainly divine intervention to strengthen my faith and give me the courage to love again.

Life Moving Forward

7. How do you imagine your life continuing or evolving as you leave treatment?
I don’t know yet if I will return to my previous profession, but in a magical way I have peace with that. I now have the tools, resources, and support, and trust that my new position will find me.

8. What tools, practices, or insights from ATMC do you plan to carry forward?
All of them! I feel as if I just earned a college degree in nutrition, therapy, pharmacology, and detoxification. I plan on using all of this profound wisdom to make the second half of my life the best it can be. The best husband, the best dad, and the best me.

Words for Others

9. If someone were considering ATMC and feeling unsure or afraid, what you you want them to know?
I witnessed several miracles here, and one was my radical transformation. ATMC provided the safe and nurturing environment to allow my body and mind to heal. I don’t think it could have happened anywhere else. I am a new man!

10. Briefly, how would you describe your experience at ATMC?
A life-saving miracle.
